What is an EKG?
An EKG is a virtually painless test that records the electrical activity of your heart.

What can I expect during this test?
A series of 10 electrode patches and leadwires will be attached to your chest, arms and legs during the procedure. The test takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.

Where can this procedure be performed?
An EKG can be scheduled at any Indiana Heart Physicians location.

What are my instructions for this test?
There are no dietary, medicine, driving or activity restrictions for this test. 

When will I get my results?
Your EKG will be interpreted by one of our cardiologists and faxed to the ordering physician within 24 hours.
